Registered Nurse

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Iowa. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals, and ensure the safety and well-being of patients throughout their care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients according to established care plans and clinical standards.
• Assess patients//' health conditions and monitor vital signs and clinical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care.
• Respond appropriately to changes in patients//' conditions and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Follow infection-control procedures, safety standards, and facility policies.
• Participate in patient care planning and discharge planning as required.
• Maintain professional and effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Current and active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) License or eligibility as applicable.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous nursing experience preferred; experience requirements may vary by department.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous acute-care, hospital, long-term care, rehabilitation, or specialty nursing experience.
• ACLS, PALS, or other specialty certifications as required for the assigned unit.
