General Laborer

Job Summary:

We are a fast-growing, high-demand contracting company specializing in tree work, handyman services, home repairs, small construction projects, yard cleanups, and general labor. We receive a large volume of jobs every week and we are looking for a dependable, motivated, and hardworking General Laborer / Technician to join our team immediately.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding job that offers a variety of work every day. You will be assisting with tree removal, hauling debris, completing home repair tasks, supporting carpentry projects, and helping with any general construction or handyman services our customers need. If you are someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning new skills, and being part of a fast-moving crew, this is the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities:

Tree Work & Outdoor Labor:

• Assist with tree removals, trimmings, and brush cleanup
• Drag limbs, operate ropes, feed chipper (if trained), and support climbers
• Operate chainsaws, pole saws, blowers, and other tree-care equipment (training provided)
• Maintain safe working zones and follow all job-site safety procedures

Handyman & Home Repair:

• Assist with minor carpentry, drywall patching, painting, flooring, fence repair, and home improvement tasks
• Measure, cut, lift, carry, and install materials as directed
• Help with assembly, light plumbing tasks, and general home maintenance
• Perform general repairs with power tools and basic hand tools

Construction & Jobsite Support:

• Help with small construction projects (sheds, decks, framing, demo, cleanup)
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Clean and organize job sites before, during, and after work
• Assist with demolition work and debris removal
• Follow direction from the lead tech/owner and complete tasks efficiently

General Duties:

• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude with customers
• Show up on time, ready to work, with reliable transportation
• Communicate clearly with the team to ensure smooth job completion
• Follow all safety guidelines for tools, ladders, machinery, and tree equipment
• Keep equipment maintained, cleaned, and stored properly

Qualifications:

Required:

• Reliable transportation to and from jobs
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs regularly
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, and various weather conditions
• Basic experience with power tools (drills, saws, impact drivers, etc.)
• Good communication and professional behavior around customers

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience in tree work, landscaping, or groundskeeping
• Experience in handyman work, carpentry, remodeling, or general construction
• Chainsaw or tree equipment experience
• Any roofing, fence, deck, or framing experience
• Ability to work independently once trained

We will train motivated individuals even if they do not have all the skills yet.
