Orion Solutions Group is working with a non-asset based Domestic and International Transportation Broker. This provider is one of the oldest drayage brokers in North America. They are seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to lead their sales team, and drive growth through strategic initiatives for drayage and truckload brokerage.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify new opportunities through market research and industry trends.
- Provide insights to support planning and decision-making.
Relationship & Partnership Management
- Identify and pursue partnership opportunities to support growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to structure and implement agreements.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and develop a results-driven team.
- Set clear objectives and provide coaching and support.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and successful execution.
Performance & Growth
- Drive revenue or growth targets through strategic initiatives and relationship development.
- Track performance metrics and refine approaches based on data and feedback.
Executive & Stakeholder Communication
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment with overall business priorities.
- Prepare and deliver reports, forecasts, and strategic updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Ability to travel as required.
- Leadership strengths in communication, negotiation, and analytics.
- Minimum of 10 years of transportation/logistic sales experience, with 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or supply chain is preferred.
- Deep experience in domestic truckload, import/export drayage, LTL, transloading.
- Strong understanding of market trends and dynamics.
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
