Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the accounting and finance team.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate, timely monthly and annual financial statements.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity planning.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial forecasting.
- Supervise tax preparation and assist with tax planning initiatives.
- Administer and optimize the company's ERP system.
- Support investor, banking, and lending relationships.
- Coordinate financial aspects of real estate transactions and closings.
- Manage relationships with title companies, attorneys, insurance providers, and other financial partners.
- Assist executive leadership with debt and equity financing activities.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Communicate financial results and projections to ownership and operational leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA required.
- 3-5 years of public accounting experience with a regional or national CPA firm.
- Audit experience strongly preferred.
- MBA is a plus.
- Experience in residential real estate, homebuilding, construction, or real estate development is preferred.
