Drayage Terminal Manager

Our client is a national intermodal trucking company with an outstanding reputation in Texas. They are hiring a Terminal Manager with international and domestic drayage experience. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing multiple employees including scheduling, hiring, and on-boarding – a “working manager”
• Full P&L responsibility for the terminal
• Ensure compliance with all FMCSA and DOT regulations, with strong expertise in HOS
• Participate in the interview and hiring process for all terminal staff
• Responsible for the on boarding of new owner operators
• Oversee training programs for owner operators, office staff and other employees
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with intermodal trucking/IMC’s
• Class A driver dispatching experience in a terminal with over 25 drivers desired
• Track record of success in owner-operator environment
• International and domestic drayage experience required
• Computer proficient
• Punctual, dependable, and great communicator
• Strong eye for detail
• Driver following and customer relationships are a plus!
