Security Field Supervisor - Hartford CT - Springfield MA

Orion Protective Services is looking for quality supervisor candidates in the greater Hartford, CT area. You must have a clean driving record to use our patrol vehicles.

• You must have at least three years of Security Officer experience with positive references.
• You must have at least two years of supervisory experience in any type of employment but security management is preferred.
• You must be able to maintain a flexible schedule and be available at all hours as we are a 24/7 business.
• You must be good with people. Be a leader that leads by example and is respected by our employees.
• You must have excellent communication skills to ensure that our security sites are maintained with the highest quality.
• You must be able to read, write, speak and understand English and be able to complete reports on time.
• You must possess a valid CT Guard Card.
• You must have a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record as you will have possession of a company patrol vehicle.
• You may be required to acquire other certifications and licenses during the course of your employment such as CPR/AED and First Aid.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• In the event a security officer calls out from a shift, you are required to fill that shift with a properly trained security officer, without overtime if possible. In the event that shift cannot be filled with a properly trained security officer, you are expected to hold post until a replacement officer can be assigned.
• Maintain a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures; act to ensure that staff members understand and comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Maintain a daily log of Field Supervisor activities and file timely visit reports for all of our sites.
• You must be well organized and flexible with planning your schedule.
• Communicate with management on an as needed basis.
• Complete officer checks at all sites every week with the frequency to be determined by management
