Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Location: Hampton, NH. This is an on-site opportunity designed for collaboration and hands-on development. Once established, there may be flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.

Note: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business and at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience. Accounting degrees and public accounting experience are strongly preferred. QuickBooks proficiency is required. CPA credentials or progress toward becoming a CPA are a plus.

Job Description

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations.
• Perform bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, account maintenance, and financial statement preparation using QuickBooks.
• Support tax planning and research to help clients make informed financial decisions.
• Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements and related financial reporting procedures.
• Independently manage multiple client engagements while maintaining accurate, timely deliverables.
• Communicate professionally with clients and internal team members throughout engagements.
• Prioritize competing deadlines and maintain quality during tax season and other high-volume periods.
• Develop broader client-management responsibilities as your experience and capabilities grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business required; Accounting preferred.
• 2 years of relevant accounting experience required.
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• QuickBooks proficiency required.
• UltraTax experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office skills.
• Tax preparation experience highly preferred.
• CPA or CPA-track candidates are a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, critical-thinking, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
• Long-term interest in professional growth and increased responsibility.
