Location: This role is based in the Indianapolis area and is best suited for someone who wants to work closely with the team in an on-site environment.
Note: Must have a PE license and 3 years of directly relevant site/civil or land development engineering experience.

Job Description
- Lead and support land development engineering projects from concept through final construction plans
- Design site layout, grading, stormwater systems, drainage, utilities, and erosion control solutions
- Prepare and review civil site plans, technical drawings, reports, specifications, and related documentation
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, planning boards, utility providers, and internal project teams
- Manage permitting and help move projects efficiently through regulatory approval processes
- Apply local ordinances, engineering standards, and development requirements to project work
- Support construction-phase efforts including estimating, scheduling, coordination, and field reporting
- Perform site visits, inspections, and project observation as needed
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to deliver quality work on schedule
- Help solve real-world development challenges with practical, well-executed engineering solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- PE license required
- 3 years of site/civil or land development engineering experience
- Strong technical foundation in civil site design
- Experience with AutoCAD; Civil 3D preferred
- Experience with hydrology and hydraulic software such as HydroCAD, WaterCAD, AES, or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and produce quality work
