Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is a full-time, fully on-site opportunity for an attorney who wants to build a long-term practice in a collegial office setting.
Note: Must have at least 1 year of attorney experience and background in estate planning, probate, or litigation. Michigan bar admission, or clear eligibility for admission, should be treated as required.

Job Description
- Advise clients on estate planning strategies and prepare core planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related materials.
- Handle probate and estate administration matters with confidence, professionalism, and strong client communication.
- Represent clients in probate disputes, estate-related litigation, and other civil litigation matters as needed.
- Draft motions, pleadings, legal correspondence, and other advocacy-driven documents with precision and strong judgment.
- Appear in court, participate in hearings, and assist with trial preparation and litigation strategy.
- Work directly with clients to solve important personal and business legal issues in a thoughtful, practical way.
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys in a general practice setting that allows for broad skill development and long-term growth.
- Take ownership of your work, contribute to the firm's continued success, and build a practice with meaningful income upside through monthly bonuses.
Qualifications
- 1 years of attorney experience.
- Experience in estate planning, probate, or civil litigation.
- Michigan bar admission or eligibility for prompt admission.
- Strong writing, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Professional judgment, initiative, and the ability to work with a degree of autonomy.
- Trial experience is a plus.
- Portable business is a plus but not required.
