Job Description
- Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
- Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys to prepare cases for trial.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients throughout the litigation process.
- Build strong client relationships through responsive communication and practical legal counsel.
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Bar license.
- 2 years of civil litigation experience.
- Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
- Insurance defense experience preferred but not required.
- Candidates from law firms, in-house legal departments, or solo practice are encouraged to apply.
