ACCOUNT MANAGER Position Description Position Summary:Ensure prompt and efficient service to brokers as liaison between brokers, underwriters, appraisal reviewers, account executives and funders. Manage assigned pipeline to ensure timely and efficient action. Ensure that all underwriting requirements/conditions are satisfied prior to printing loan-closing documents from pipeline of approved loans. Coordinate delivery of accurate loan closing documents. Ensure all procedures are applied to pipeline loans being canceled or denied. Responsible for each assigned applicant from opening through closing.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:•Manage pipeline to ensure adherence to company lending and service standards•Review closings costs with broker and confirm closing with Closing agent•Work closely with underwriters to understand conditions and explain to the broker and/or consumer. Anticipate underwriter conditions to the extent possible•Ensure that loans meet regulatory and underwriting guideline compliance•Maintain clear, consistent line of communication between the broker, underwriter,funder and assigned Account Executives•If assigned as Account Manager for certain broker accounts, create and foster goodworking relationships with Brokers for whom you are assigned by training them onCompany policy and procedures and answering inquiries/addressing issues•Provide exceptional customer service to customers, operations staff and all third partiesthroughout the entire loan processSpecific Authorities for Account Managers:•Compliance expert (RESPA, MDIA, Reg Z, LE/CD Etc.)•Implements program and rate changes in preparation for underwriters as requested viaa COC submitted by broker•Complete TBD conversions•Clear Mavent Failures•Complete appraisal transfers when required and clear closing document holds in closingOrdering MI quotes/ Final MI CertificatesSpecific knowledge and requirements:•Strong organization and communication skills•Basic understanding of residential mortgage loan terminology, credit process anddocumentation•Ability to work with minimal supervision, assume multiple tasks and establish prioritiesto meet service standards•Functional knowledge of Encompass software•Provide industry leading service to our Broker Partners and Account Executives
