The Glass Maintenance Internship Program at our Gallo Glass plant welcomes curious, motivated learners for 3–6 month placements where hands‑on experience and mentorship matter.

As a Glass Maintenance Intern you will work side‑by‑side with Maintenance Technicians and Team Leads in areas such as Facility and Reliability Maintenance and Production. You’ll support equipment readiness, assist with preventative maintenance, and take part in troubleshooting and repairs. You’ll document work completed, replace or repair parts as directed, and learn basic facility maintenance skills while contributing to projects that improve environmental performance—helping reduce utilities, wastewater, and water consumption.

What You'll Need

• Currently enrolled at a college or university working towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or Engineering/Industrial Technology; OR a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Engineering/Industrial Technology.
• Available for the entire duration of this internship program –(January - June 2026)
• Requires availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
• Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  
  

How You'll Stand Out

• Junior or Senior class standing at a college or university working towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Industrial/Engineering Technology.
• Strong analytical problem-solver, process focused and leadership skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and skilled in managing multiple assignments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access), to include data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
