About Us:

Position 1: Lead Teacher in Training

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–12:30 PM
Age Group: 3–4 year olds
Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour

The Lead Teacher in Training position is a great opportunity for someone who is currently working toward becoming a preschool lead teacher.

This person will work alongside and support a current preschool teacher in a 3- to 4-year-old classroom. The goal of this position is to help prepare the right candidate to have their own classroom the following year when our new building opens, assuming the year goes well and the candidate is ready for that next step.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the lead teacher with daily classroom routines

2. Helping implement age-appropriate activities

3. Assisting with classroom management and child supervision

4. Building relationships with children and families

5. Learning curriculum planning, classroom organization, and preschool licensing expectations

6. Supporting the overall preschool team

Qualifications:

1. Associate degree in Early Childhood Education preferred

2. May also be currently working toward an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education

3. Some preschool or childcare experience preferred

4. Strong interest in growing into a lead teacher role

5. Dependable, flexible, and willing to learn

6. Positive communication skills with children, families, and coworkers

Additional Hours:

Additional hours may be available through preschool substitute work or by adding a morning Latchkey shift at one of our elementary school locations to help create a fuller schedule.

Position 2: Assistant Preschool Teacher

Schedule: To be determined based on program needs 7:30 to 12:30 or 12:30 to 5:30
Starting Pay: $17.50 per hour

We are also hiring an Assistant Preschool Teacher to support our preschool classrooms during the 2026–2027 school year.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children, is dependable, and wants to be part of a growing preschool program.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting lead teachers with classroom routines and activities

2. Helping supervise children during play, centers, transitions, snack, and outdoor/gross motor time

3. Supporting children with social-emotional skills and independence

4. Helping maintain a safe, clean, and positive classroom environment

5. Assisting with classroom materials, organization, and daily needs

6. Working as part of a team to support children and families

Qualifications:

1. Experience working with young children preferred

2. Must be dependable, patient, and positive

3. Strong communication and teamwork skills

4. Willingness to learn and grow in a preschool setting

5. Early Childhood Education coursework or interest in the field is a plus
