The position is broad in responsibilities, making it especially attractive to someone who enjoys owning processes, partnering cross functionally, and helping a complex international finance function run smoothly. There is strong leadership above this position (Director, VP, SVP) for guidance, partnership and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support monthly close and consolidation activities across multiple global entities, including journal entries, intercompany activity, cash movements, and account reconciliations
• Review monthly reporting packages from international teams and external providers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with company policies
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement activity, investigate variances, and contribute to recurring management reporting and business reviews
• Partner with senior finance leadership on ad hoc projects, executive-ready materials, and initiatives that strengthen the broader finance organization
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and third-party providers to support statutory reporting, annual audits, and ongoing compliance requirements
• Serve as a key liaison across accounting, FP&A, tax, legal, payroll, and other business partners to keep global finance processes moving efficiently
• Support entity-level initiatives including launches, restructurings, wind-downs, and other finance-related projects tied to an evolving international footprint
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and systems enhancement to improve efficiency, controls, and reporting quality
• Help translate finance and accounting needs into practical, scalable processes within a complex multi-entity environment

Qualifications

• 7 years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience
• Public accounting experience required; Big 4 or larger regional background strongly preferred
• Experience in a multinational, multi-entity, or international environment is highly attractive
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS exposure is a plus
• Experience with consolidations, close processes, financial reporting, and intercompany accounting
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working within ERP environments; Workday or similar systems exposure is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Polished communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across levels, functions, and geographies
• Professional, low-ego, solutions-oriented approach with strong ownership and follow-through

Total compensation package is: ~$180k - $240k (base, annual bonus, profit sharing / match)
