Position Summary
The Estate Planning Specialist will work with our Advisors to educate clients on estate planning and business succession and will serve as a resource for clients who are working through the estate planning process with their outside legal team. The Estate Planning Specialist will also serve as an internal resource, including by assisting our Client Service team with beneficiary designations, account titling, handling account transitions after a death, and other matters. Orgel Wealth Management is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice to clients and no aspect of the position will involve the provision of legal advice.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Educate clients on basic and advanced estate planning techniques
- Collaborate with our clients’ attorneys to design estate plans that efficiently and effectively transfer wealth
- Work with trustees regarding the management and distribution of managed trust assets
- Provide information to clients on business formation and divestiture strategies, including business succession planning
- Work with our Advisors to identify potential basic and advanced estate planning techniques that could help clients accomplish their goals
- Review and analyze estate planning and business formation documents
- Serve as an internal resource on issues related to estate planning, account titling, beneficiary designations, business formation and succession, and similar matters
- Perform other duties as required that contribute to the overall effectiveness of the position and firm
- Conduct research and prepare written updates on issues related to estate planning and business succession planning as needed

- Leverage technology, including the Microsoft Office Suite, Practifi (Salesforce), Tamarac, and other software applications as necessary
Educational and Experience Requirements
Required:
- JD degree from an accredited law school
- 2 years of experience working with individuals on estate planning or business formation
- Advanced knowledge of estate planning strategies and business formation and succession strategies

Salary : $115,000 - $175,000
