Job Overview:
The Human Resources Manager oversees all HR operations, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development for all Organic Remedies locations, the position is based in Carlisle at headquarters. This role is responsible for enhancing employee morale, streamlining HR processes, supporting management teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. The HR Manager acts as a strategic partner to leadership and a resource for all employees, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- · Oversee the entire recruitment and hiring process, from job postings to selection, aligning with business needs.
- · Develop and implement initiatives to improve employee morale and recognition (e.g., engagement surveys, appreciation events, recognition programs).
- · Maintain and improve employee documentation and file compliance, focusing on digitization and organization.
- · Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation and training are completed accurately and efficiently.
- · Track and manage FMLA, ADA, and other leave programs, ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping.
- · Handle unemployment claims and request relief of charges when applicable.
- · Design, implement, and update standardized onboarding and training programs for all roles.
- · Collaborate with management to ensure training materials are current, accessible, and effective.
- · Support leadership in developing and updating job descriptions for all positions.
- · Serve as a resource for managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, conflict resolution, and personnel issues.
- · Create and refine HR processes and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- · Participate in management meetings and organizational planning.
- · Take inventory of HR tasks and recommend areas for additional support or delegation.
- · Act as a bridge between management and staff, addressing grievances, mediating disputes, and fostering a positive environment.
- · Accurately process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- · Establish performance standards, conduct evaluations, coach managers on feedback delivery, and support performance improvement plans.
- · Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all HR processes, documentation, and data management.
- · Thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience to evolving business needs and priorities.
- · Remain adaptable to changing business needs, including new projects and initiatives.
- · Process Worker’s Compensation Claims in the event of an injury.

Qualifications
Qualification Requirements
- · 4 years of HR management experience, preferably in a multi-site and/or retail environment.
- · Demonstrated experience in employee engagement, training, and compliance.
- · Strong organizational and project management skills.
- · Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- · Proficiency with HRIS, LMS, and digital documentation tools.
- · Bilingual or experience working with multilingual teams is a plus.
- · Cannabis industry experience is a plus.
Education/Experience
- · Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- · 4 years of progressive HR experience, including management responsibilities.
- · Experience in employee relations, training, and compliance.
Language Skills
- · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- · Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- · Bilingual (Spanish/English) or experience working with multilingual teams is a plus.
