Director of Facilities Management

More than building maintenance, you'll be trusted to help maintain and ensure our well-established brand.

As the Director of Facilities Management for Oregon State Credit Union, you'll do more than just ensure our financial cooperative buildings are secure; you'll be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our facilities in a way that maintains and builds on the trust and confidence our credit union has earned.

Working closely with other leadership, you'll oversee the construction, remodel, and office space design of our 15 buildings, implement and maintain our Security and Safety programs, manage vendors for all locations, and direct the facilities department team. You'll select and manage third party relationships, such as architects, vendors and contractors. You'll help define project objectives, define schedules, attain resources and manage overall quality of the outcomes, often with time sensitive deadlines. You'll also be responsible for developing and managing an annual facility maintenance plan budget for both buildings and grounds, evaluate opportunities for energy efficiency and environmental stewardship, and work with our team to identify opportunities to improve member experience, build our trusted brand, and add to employee comfort and safety.

You'll also be a key partner in our risk and loss mitigation by conducting comprehensive security and safety trainings, consulting with local law enforcement and fire agencies to develop coordinated alarm response plans, as well as securing and maintaining contracts for surveillance, alarm and building access systems. And you'll act as supervisor to the Facilities team, hiring, setting performance expectations, conducting performance reviews, coaching and mentoring your direct reports. This sensitive and varied role demands a professional appearance and manner, sound judgement, outstanding written and oral skills, and a work commitment that includes occasional after-hours work, and on-call responsibilities.

What you will need to be successful:

• Bachelor's degree in business management or related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience in facilities and/or security management, required
• At least 3 years of management experience, required
• Ability to develop and present trainings to large and small groups
• Availability for after-hours work and on-call responsibilities
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook and experience with loan document programs
