POSITION SUMMARY: Oregon Door is looking for Machine Operator/Material Handlers to safely manufacture high quality products to specifications, while meeting or exceeding productivity targets. A Machine Operator/Material Handlers will provide value by labor support to the operation team and continuously learn a new skill set to fill in around the production floor.
SHIFT: 6:00am - 4:30pm
WAGE: $20.00/hr
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate any work-related issues to the supervisors
- Enforces safety policies at all time
- Ability to keep workforce engaged and production running smoothly
- Reports any personnel issues to the Production Manager and/or Human Resource manager
- Help assistant the machine operators safely and per SOP.
- Sand doors in proper order to create optimum production results.
- Communicate effectively with production team to ensure proper finishing applications are applied.
- Perform quality check and any other duties for maximum production potential
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Prefer General Labors to have at least 6 months in manufacturing/production environment.
- Must be able to read a tape measure and have basic math skills.
- Must have attention to details and basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.
- Must be able to lift between 10-30 lbs. frequently, 50-75 lbs. occasionally, 75 lbs. rarely
- Must keep work area clean and be safety oriented always
- Must be self-motivated, have strong work ethic, and desire to take initiative
EDUCATION:
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D
