What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leave of Absence Specialist (Internal Only) position at Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC)?
The Leave of Absence Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring that the company's leave programs remain fully compliant with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations. This role oversees the full life cycle of employee leave requests with confidentiality and serves as a Subject Matter Expert on Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Oregon Family Leave Act (OFLA), Paid Leave Oregon (PLO), Pregnant Worker Fairness Act (PWFA) and Worker’s Compensation, and all other related federal and state regulations and internal policies. The Specialist operates with a high level of efficiency, effectively managing a large volume of leave cases while upholding OCDC’s values and supporting the needs of its employees.
