We are looking for a passionate and innovative Science/ STEM educator to teach and inspire students in grades 6–8. The ideal candidate will integrate project-based learning, real-world applications, and hands-on activities into the curriculum, fostering curiosity and a love for STEM subjects.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging lessons in science, technology, engineering, and math aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
Incorporate project-based learning and STEM-focused activities to promote critical thinking and collaboration.
Utilize technology and digital tools to enhance instruction and student learning.
Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students.
Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction as needed.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional learning communities.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education, science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field (required).
Valid Texas teaching certification in a core STEM subject for grades 4–8
Classroom teaching experience preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
A passion for STEM education and student achievement.
