Job Description:
We are seeking skilled Metal Building Erectors to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will have experience in the erection of pre-engineered metal buildings and a strong commitment to quality and safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Erect and install pre-engineered metal buildings, including structural steel and metal components.
- Proficiently hang iron, install sheeting for roofs and walls, and erect prefabricated main frames, secondary members, bracing, siding, and roofing.
- Raise, place, and secure girders, columns, and other structural-steel members.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project deadlines.
- Perform job site inspections to ensure all construction is up to code and performed safely.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience as part of a metal building erection crew.
- Experience with hanging iron, sheeting roofs, and installing metal siding.
- Knowledge of erecting prefabricated frames, secondary members, and bracing.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work at heights and as part of a team.
