Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Nurse Practitioner - Family Medicine for our client in New Mexico!
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient clinical care, managing a daily patient volume of approximately 23 patients per shift.
- Communicate effectively with diverse patient populations, utilizing bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish preferred).
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient charting using NextGen Healthcare EMR.
Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Family Medicine.
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible status.
- Required certifications including ACLS and BLS.
- Active New Mexico state medical license.
Schedule
- Coverage Needed: November 9, 2026 – February 5, 2027
- Shift Structure: Scheduled clinical hours only (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM).
- Call Requirements: Scheduled clinical hours only with no call requirements.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
Skills
- Strong clinical proficiency in outpatient family care and primary medicine management.
- High efficiency in managing high patient volumes while delivering quality clinical care.
- Proficiency with NextGen Healthcare EMR systems for patient charting and clinical documentation.
- Strong communication skills, with bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency highly valued.
All travel expenses are reimbursed by our client and Orchard covers malpractice insurance with tail coverage!
