We’re looking for someone who understands design and sells through expertise and trust. Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, and contractors. You’re organized, detail-oriented, and value clear communication.
Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Lead day-to-day sales activity across trade and showroom channels.
- Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and contractors.
- Manage trade lead pipeline from inquiry to close, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate tracking in CRM.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales recaps with data on goals, conversion rates, and product trends.
- Work with the Head of Product to refine pricing, margin targets, and sales strategies.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations to align delivery timelines and client expectations.
Showroom Operations
- Oversee all aspects of showroom presentation, including merchandising, product displays, and trade appointments.
- Ensure showroom materials, samples, and tear sheets are updated and aligned with product releases.
- Schedule and host showroom appointments, trade events, and product launches.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and brand aligned space that reflects ORCA’s standards.
Client Relations
- Serve as the main point of contact for trade visitors and partners.
- Provide design guidance and product recommendations based on project needs.
- Develop follow-up strategies to nurture relationships and drive repeat business.
- Collect and share feedback with product and marketing teams to improve offerings and client experience.
Reporting and Coordination
- Report directly to the Head of Product.
- Collaborate with marketing on trade promotions and campaigns.
- Track inventory levels for showroom and samples; request replenishment as needed.
- Support wholesale onboarding and trade account setup.
Qualifications
- 5 years in sales or showroom management, preferably in design, architecture, or high-end building materials.
- Strong organizational skills with experience developing or managing CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and follow-through with clients and internal teams.
- Design literacy and familiarity with materials like clay tile, stone, wood, and metal.
- Comfort with data driven decision making and sales reporting.
- Ability to balance client experience with revenue and margin goals.
Location
Los Angeles, CA (on-site showroom role, with off-site client meetings and occasional travel domestically).
