The Customer Service & Sales Representative approach will be both warmly engaging and professionally astute, as they guide customers and home owners through service selections with accuracy and a genuine desire to find the perfect fit for them.
As a Customer Service & Sales Representative, your role is to simplify the path to faster, smarter home connectivity, starting with AT&T Fiber. The Customer Service & Sales Representative will be trained to explain service coverage, internet performance expectations, compatible wireless devices, and bundle options, while ensuring seamless enrollment, accurate documentation, and consistent adherence to compliance protocols.
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service & Sales Representative
- Facilitate sales growth by promoting AT&T Fiber internet, wireless mobility, entertainment bundles, and accessories to consistently exceed performance targets.
- Provide consultative guidance to households, aligning connectivity needs with customized AT&T plans, bundled services, and device solutions.
- Demonstrate product fluency by maintaining expertise on AT&T promotions, device specifications, service packages, and protection plans.
- Execute sales operations by processing activations, upgrades, and service enrollments, ensuring CRM accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Deliver service assurance by addressing customer inquiries, overcoming objections with factual solutions, and reinforcing satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with supervisors and marketing teams to share customer insights, refine outreach strategies, and strengthen AT&T's campaign initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications of the Customer Service & Sales Representative
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in customer support, retail, or sales, ideally within telecommunications, internet services, or subscription‑based environments.
- Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to explain AT&T Fiber solutions, resolve service concerns, and build lasting customer trust.
- Organized, proactive, and adaptable approach with resilience to excel in fast‑paced residential sales settings and consistently achieve performance goals.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital tools to manage accounts, monitor engagement, and streamline AT&T workflows.
