Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Process cash transactions accurately, including handling cash drawers and managing cash management procedures
- Assist customers with retail lending options, including explaining loan products and processing loan applications
- Maintain precise data entry records for sales, inventory, and financial transactions using retail software systems
- Support loan collections and processing activities to ensure timely payments and account accuracy
- Handle retail math calculations confidently for pricing, discounts, and cash handling tasks
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and proper presentation of the sales floor to create an inviting shopping environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or retail store environments preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and financial transactions
- Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently, including 10 key typing tasks
- Knowledge of banking or financial services concepts such as loan processing or collections is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail for processing cash transactions, managing the cash drawer, and maintaining accurate records
