Production Planner

This is a full-time employment opportunity on day shift working 6:00am-4:30pm Monday thru Friday (50 hours).

Position Responsibilities

• Make daily necessary Bills of Materials (BOM) adjustments to stay current with deviations and quality improvements (Genius ERP)
• Print work orders as needed for Production team (Genius ERP) on a daily basis
• Move work orders from Genius into PICO (MES system) on a daily basis
• Update TAKT schedule spreadsheet (Excel)
• Provide daily end of shift Production summary to assess truck progress through the final line at the end of each day (Excel)
• Provide weekly information regarding charge cabinet assembly and inventory, frame welding/modification timing and frame quantities ready to be assembled (Word, Excel)
• Reserving trucks into the schedule on a daily basis (Genius ERP)
  
  

Position Qualifications

• Computer experience including use in Word, Excel and Outlook (Previous use of TEAMS, Powerpoint and/or Production operating systems a definite plus)
• Good daily attendance
• Attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate with others
• Ability to adapt and remain flexible while still achieving goals
• Ability to work as a valued member in a team based dynamic
  
  

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have

• 1-3 years of manufacturing or supply chain experience preferred
• Experience with ERP/MRP Management utilizing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to maintain accurate inventory records, item usage history, and forecasting files

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication to coordinate across departments and report to management.
• Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making skills to resolve manufacturing bottlenecks or material shortages quickly.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality control.
