CNC Plasma Operator

Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time CNC Plasma Torch Operator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our CNC Plasma table, ensuring precise cuts according to drawings and customerspecifications. Efficient production, and a safe working environment. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CNC Plasma Torch Table with precision and safety.
• Set up equipment for production runs, including loading and configuring materials.
• Clean and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Load and offload materials and parts safely, utilizing overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Read and interpret job travelers, blueprints, and work instructions to plan production.
• Coordinate priorities with the Production Manager to meet deadlines.
• Monitor machine operation, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments.
• Tracking daily production and material usage.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist in training new operators and supporting team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience in operating CNC plasma cutting equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, able to work independently.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to multiple task efficiently in a fast-paced fabrication environment while meeting production deadlines.
• The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and organizational skills with a strong ethic.
• Must be able to stand and walk 90% of the workday, accurately assess weights, distances and heights for safe material handling.

Basic Required Skills (Equivalent combination of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience will be considered):

· 1 year experience in CNC Plasma Torch Table

Preferred Required Skills:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay: $24.26 - $29.22 per hour
