OCBS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator with strong working knowledge of construction management to support and coordinate multiple active projects. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Anaheim, CA.

The Senior Project Coordinator plays a critical role in planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction projects from initiation through closeout. This role requires exceptional organization, follow-through, and the ability to coordinate across office staff, field personnel, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.


Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate with estimators, purchasing, superintendents, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to determine project specifications and requirements
  • Work with office staff and city agencies to obtain permits and licenses
  • Identify and coordinate required resources (labor, equipment, and materials) with attention to budgetary constraints
  • Plan construction operations and schedule project phases to meet deadlines
  • Procure materials and equipment and monitor inventory to prevent shortages
  • Serve as a liaison between office staff and field personnel, providing guidance and clarification as needed
  • Track project progress and prepare detailed status reports
  • Prepare and distribute weekly summaries for all projects in the pipeline
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards; report issues as needed
  • Provide weekly progress updates to property management, homeowners, law firms, and other stakeholders
  • Attend weekly project management meetings and report on job status
  • Prepare weekly project manager meeting agendas and tracking matrices
  • Attend weekly estimating meetings to review incoming projects and assist with manpower forecasting
  • Review and manage daily manpower schedules to ensure technicians are assigned appropriately
  • Communicate clear daily and weekly work assignments to field technicians
  • Monitor and update manpower schedules for changes, call-outs, or reassignments
  • Assist other service department personnel as needed
  • Review project documentation and prepare files for project closeout, ensuring billing and project status are accurate


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Project Coordinator or similar in-office role within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
  • Familiarity with quality control and health and safety standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to learn and work within customized internal software systems, including Access
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in high-pressure environments
  • Team-oriented mindset with demonstrated leaders

Salary : $38 - $52
