What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Orange City Area Health System?
Description: The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates, plans, educates, and treats patients to restore function and prevent disability resulting from disease or injury. He/She utilizes appropriate procedures and protocols to meet the physical and psychological needs of infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. The speech therapist will also communicate with all pertinent members of the patient’s health care team.
Number of Hours: Part-time or Full-Time, 16-40 hours a week.
Schedule: Typically from 8am – 5pm, with some variance based on patient needs.
Educational Requirements: Master's or doctoral degree from and accredited speech and language program required. Must be licensed by the State of Iowa as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Work Location: In person
