Oracle Lighting is looking for a motivated and customer focused Inside Sales Executive to support our network of wholesale and retail accounts. This entry- to mid-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping customers find the right solutions from our product line.
You’ll be responsible for answering inquiries, providing support, and working to increase order volume from existing accounts. This is a full-time, in-office role at our Metairie, LA headquarters — perfect for someone eager to grow their sales career in the automotive aftermarket industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support & Relationship Building
· Serve as the main point of contact for assigned wholesale and jobber accounts.
· Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely, professional manner.
· Keep customers informed about new products, promotions, and company updates.
· Assist in resolving order issues and providing general product guidance.
Sales & Product Recommendations
· Suggest products based on customer needs, buying history, and current promotions.
· Follow up on quotes, open orders, and sales leads to encourage repeat business.
· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM.
New Account Outreach
· Reach out to prospective jobbers and distributors to introduce Oracle Lighting products.
· Assist in onboarding new accounts by walking them through the order and support process.
· Participate in occasional events or trade shows to support the sales team (limited travel required).
Team Support & Collaboration
· Work closely with the marketing and fulfillment teams to ensure customer needs are met.
· Provide account feedback to the sales team to help improve processes and offerings.
Qualifications:
· 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or account support (B2B or automotive preferred).
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
· A self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
· Interest in or familiarity with automotive products is a plus.
Preferred Attributes:
· Familiarity with automotive lighting, accessories, or vehicle customization products.
· Experience working with jobber networks, warehouse distributors, or 12V channel partners.
· Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for customer success.
· Comfortable balancing field sales with administrative follow-up and reporting.
