Requirement
- Mechanical system design from scratch, including stress/fatigue analysis, load/acceleration calculations, and risk assessment.
- Development of system documentation (design descriptions, test plans, maintenance/job plans).
- CAD design/drafting using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Design/troubleshooting of pneumatic & hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of amusement ride safety standards (ASTM) and guest safety requirements.
- Hazard analysis & redundancy design (minimizing single points of failure).
- Technical lead and mentoring of junior engineers/technicians.
- Small project management ($50k–$250k), including planning, scheduling, purchasing, subcontractor management.
- Experience: 5–7 years in mechanical system design, stress/failure analysis, and system integration.
- Technical Skills: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, mechanical calculations, pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
- Preferred Industry Experience: Amusement rides / attractions / entertainment systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, customer focus.
- Other: Proficiency with MS Office, ability to work cross-functionally, physical capability for on-site environments.
