SSD Firmware Applications Engineer – NVMe / PCIe
📍 Milpitas, CA (Onsite)
💲 $150K – $200K | Full-Time
We are seeking an SSD Firmware Applications Engineer with strong NVMe, PCIe, and SSD controller experience to support enterprise storage and datacenter platform solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify SSD firmware features for NVMe and PCIe protocols
- Debug host interface and storage-related firmware issues
- Analyze PCIe traces and perform root-cause analysis
- Work closely with hardware teams and customers to support SSD qualification and integration
- Support datacenter storage architectures and enterprise platform adoption
Must Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 3 years of SSD firmware or storage applications engineering experience
- Strong NVMe and PCIe protocol debugging experience
- Experience with SSD controller architecture
- Strong C/C programming skills
- Experience with JTAG/ICE debuggers and Git
- Knowledge of SATA/SAS/NVMe storage systems
- Linux and datacenter debug experience preferred
