Our client is seeking an experienced Director (RN) Surgical Services to lead and oversee all perioperative services at a respected healthcare facility in Missoula, Montana. This leadership position is responsible for the strategic direction, operational performance, quality outcomes, and financial management of Surgical Services while ensuring exceptional patient care and staff development.

Required Qualifications
- Active Montana RN License (or eligibility to obtain).
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Surgical Services RN.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience at the Manager or Director level within Surgical Services.
- Strong knowledge of perioperative operations, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
- PALS and ACLS certification within six months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration, MBA, or related field.
- Previous Director-level leadership experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience with budgeting, strategic planning, and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for Surgical Services, including Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op, PACU, and related perioperative departments.
- Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, and performance standards.
- Manage departmental budgets, staffing plans, productivity, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on patient outcomes, safety, and operational excellence.
- Partner with physicians, nursing leadership, and executive teams to drive strategic objectives.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing clinical teams.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement.
Pay: $120,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
