Optomi, in partnership with a leading energy and utilities organization, is seeking an IT Telecom Analyst to join their Telecom Network Support team. This individual will play a critical role supporting enterprise telecom and network operations initiatives with a strong focus on NERC CIP operational compliance, Cisco infrastructure support, and network reliability.
Position Summary:
The IT Telecom Analyst will serve as a key liaison between Telecom Network Support (TNS) and Telecom Operations Compliance (TOC), supporting operational and compliance-driven network activities across the enterprise environment. This role combines hands-on network operations work with procedural execution in a highly regulated environment, including Cisco IOS upgrades, ACL changes, OpenGear support, password management, and patch mitigation activities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills, operational discipline, and exposure to network automation technologies like Ansible.

- Support enterprise telecom and data network operations with a focus on reliability and uptime
- Execute operational changes including Cisco IOS upgrades, ACL modifications, and password updates
- Configure and troubleshoot OpenGear devices and related infrastructure
- Review and support Patch Mitigation Plans (PMPs) and patch-related activities
- Create, maintain, and execute Ansible playbooks for repeatable operational tasks
- Manage and document operational work through ServiceNow and Footprints
- Partner closely with Telecom Operations Compliance (TOC) to support NERC CIP operational requirements
- Troubleshoot network infrastructure issues and support ongoing operational improvements
