Telecommunications Administrator (Johns Creek, GA)

Experience of the Right Candidate:
- 3 years of hands-on Microsoft Teams Voice administration (non-negotiable).
- 5 years of experience supporting VoIP/communications systems.
- 3 years of experience with Microsoft O365 administration.
- 3 years supporting mobile devices and managing carrier relationships (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile).
- Familiarity with voicemail, paging, SIP devices, and telephony fundamentals.
- Experience supporting telephony migrations (e.g., RingCentral, POTS, legacy PBX β Teams Voice).
- Understanding of telephony networking concepts such as QoS, VoIP basics, and routing.
- Ability to use PowerShell for running scripts and administrative tasks.
- Strong communication, customer service, and collaborative IT support experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with RingCentral migrations.
- Knowledge of Intune for mobile device management.
- Experience with ServiceNow ticketing.
- Background supporting large-scale infrastructure or multi-site technology rollouts.
- Active Directory administration experience.
- Exposure to multi-vendor telephony hardware/software environments.
Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:
- Administer and support Microsoft Teams Voice across all corporate and field locations.
- Lead or support telephony migration projects, including number porting and phone deployment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing telephony systems until fully transitioned to Teams Voice.
- Respond to telecommunication issues, outages, and ServiceNow tickets in a timely manner.
- Ensure stable performance of all telephony services through tuning and proactive monitoring.
- Support corporate mobile device operations, including activation, deactivation, reporting, and carrier coordination.
- Manage telco vendor relationships and contracts (AT&T, Verizon, etc.).
- Support paging systems, SIP devices, and specialized communication systems used at certain sites.
- Collaborate across Systems & Operations, Network Operations, and the Service Desk to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Execute PowerShell scripts to support telephony and O365 administration tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong communication with IT teams and end users.
- Participate as a key contributor in enterprise communication modernization initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
