Technical Program Manager - Identity Platform (Trust Fleet) (Hybrid - San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, or New York, NY)
Optomi, in partnership with a leading entertainment organization is seeking a Technical Program Manager – Identity Platform (Trust Fleet) to join a highly visible team supporting the next generation of identity and account experiences across one of the world's largest streaming platforms. As a Technical Program Manager, you'll play a critical role within the Commerce & Identity Alliance, partnering with Product, Engineering, Design, Legal, Privacy, and Information Security teams to deliver large-scale initiatives across the Identity – Trust Fleet. This team is responsible for the platforms and services that power secure, seamless, and compliant account experiences for millions of users across Disney Streaming and its partner platforms. In this role, you'll lead the planning and execution of complex technical programs focused on identity, authentication, account management, privacy, fraud prevention, consent management, and regulatory compliance. You'll drive roadmap planning, manage cross-functional dependencies, identify and mitigate delivery risks, and ensure successful execution across front-end, back-end, platform, and machine learning workstreams.

What Type of Experience Does the Right Candidate Have?
- 5 years of experience leading large-scale software development programs as a Technical Program Manager or similar role.
- Experience delivering multiple software products or features simultaneously within Agile development environments.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, software development lifecycle, testing, and implementation.
- Experience supporting Identity & Access Management (IAM), authentication, security, trust, privacy, fraud prevention, or account management platforms.
- Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional dependencies, identify risks early, and drive successful program delivery.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of technical programs within the Identity – Trust Fleet, driving roadmap planning, prioritization, and delivery.
- Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Architects, Design, Legal, Privacy, and Information Security teams to define execution strategies and align technical deliverables with business objectives.
- Coordinate dependencies across Identity, Login, Profiles, Foundations, and other platform teams to ensure successful program execution.
- Drive Agile planning, sprint execution, milestone tracking, and program reporting while proactively managing delivery risks and blockers.
- Translate complex product, privacy, and regulatory requirements into clear technical plans and actionable engineering work.
- Monitor and mitigate security, privacy, and compliance risks, including initiatives supporting GDPR, COPPA, consent management, and fraud prevention.
- Foster collaboration across distributed engineering teams while maintaining clear communication with executive and technical stakeholders.
- Continuously improve delivery processes, operational excellence, and program execution within a highly collaborative engineering organization.
