Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial services organization, is seeking AI Engineers for a net-new initiative focused on transforming the Software Development Lifecycle through AI-first engineering and automation. This team is building production-grade AI tooling, internal developer platforms, and agent-driven workflows in a highly collaborative, fast-moving environment.
The right candidate will come from a strong software engineering background and actively leverage AI tools throughout the SDLC for development, testing, debugging, automation, and rapid prototyping.

Experience of the Right Candidate
- Strong backend or full stack engineering experience
- Hands-on development experience with Java/Spring Boot, Python, or Node.js

- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate
- Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and AI-enabled internal tooling
- Build Spring Boot applications, Lambda functions, and web interfaces
- Design and support AI-powered workflows and multi-agent architectures
- Rapidly prototype and iterate based on user and stakeholder feedback
- Implement observability, monitoring, and telemetry solutions
- Collaborate across engineering teams to improve SDLC processes through AI-first innovation
- Help transition AI platform concepts from experimentation into enterprise-scale production systems
