Optomi, in partnership with a leading client, is seeking a Cloud Engineer I to support cloud platforms through troubleshooting, automation, monitoring, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate has AWS, Terraform, and scripting experience, with exposure to cloud networking and cybersecurity.
Qualifications:
- Scripting experience, preferably Python
- AWS and Terraform experience
- Cloud infrastructure, AWS networking, and automation experience
- Knowledge of Go/Golang and cybersecurity best practices
- Familiarity with Linux, Infrastructure as Code, containers, or IAM
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 cloud platform support and troubleshooting
- Monitor system health, alerts, backups, and routine maintenance
- Develop scripts and automation to improve cloud infrastructure
- Support deployments, updates, patching, and onboarding
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and software issues
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams in an agile environment
