What are the responsibilities and job description for the optician trainee / Optometric Assistant position at optometry eye centers?
we are seeking the right individual who is passionate about patient care and eye wear to further enhance our patient care service team.
We’re offering long term employment.
Pay rate is commensurate with optician experience
REQUIREMENTS:
1. You must have interest in health care And eyewear
2. You must have exceptional attendance record.
3. Must be able to work Saturdays.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
- Welcome ALL patients.
- Answer multiple phones lines
- Perform preliminary vision tests
- Bill and Submit Insurance Claims
- Collect payment
- Pulling Insurance Authorizations and Prepping Charts
- Help patients choose frames and go over lens options
- Dispense/ Adjust eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Receive/Ship packages
- Daily cleaning maintenance
- inventory
- Help to promote our business
- Thank all our patients ALWAYS
- Other duties as required by supervisor
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
