What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optician / Optometric Assistant position at Mission EyeCare Optometry?
If you are responsible, intelligent, and enjoy working with people, then this is a great opportunity to join our established optometry practice. We have a part time position (hours are negotiable ) for someone with the right experience, personality and/or potential to work in optometry, optical and healthcare. As a part of our office, you will have many opportunities to grow and contribute as an integral part of our team.
Job functions may include:
- -Front office – phones, checking patients in/out, scheduling of appointments
- -Back office - optometric pretests and screening tests
- -Insurance work
- -Optical - frame/lens selection and optical dispensing
Qualifications (but willing to train):
- 1 years experience in optometric field desired
- Other experiences helpful - optometry, ophthalmology, medical office/insurance, optical, sales and customer service
- Strong organizational skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
