What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional/OTR Class A CDL Flatbed Driver – $30/HR – Steady Year-Round Work position at Optimum Logistic Solutions?
Responsibilities
- Earn $30.00/HR | Paid Weekly | OT After 40 Hours
- Enjoy steady, year-round work with consistent Regional and OTR routes
- Operate a Sleeper Truck with curtain-side/drop-deck Flatbed trailers
- Deliver aluminum truck caps and tonneau covers throughout the East Coast, Florida, Midwest, and Canada
- Complete multi-stop routes with some Sunday departures returning Thursday/Friday and longer routes returning the following Monday/Tuesday
- Freight is approximately 98% Touch-Free
- Use an impact wrench to unclamp products from specialized racking inside curtain-side trailers
- Maintain scheduled delivery appointments, including 7:00 AM Monday arrivals, adjusting departure times as needed
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 24 months of recent verifiable commercial driving experience
- Must be comfortable with Regional and OTR routes requiring multiple nights away from home
- Must be comfortable operating a Sleeper Truck with Flatbed/curtain-side trailers
- Must be able to safely use an impact wrench to release products from specialized racking
- Must be flexible with Sunday or Monday departures and varying return days
- Must be willing and legally able to complete routes into Canada
- Must be able to pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen, and Background Checks
- No DUIs/DWIs within the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations within the last 36 months
