What are the responsibilities and job description for the OTR Class A CDL Driver – $30/HR – No Touch Freight – Home Weekends position at Optimum Logistic Solutions?
Responsibilities
- Earn $30.00/HR | $1,500 Weekly | Paid Weekly
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity | OT After 40 Hours
- Work Sunday–Friday, departing Sunday afternoon and returning Friday afternoon
- Operate a Manual Transmission Sleeper Tractor with curtain-side trailers and occasional dry vans
- Transport building materials ranging from 8–20 feet for Royal Building Products
- Complete 2–3 trips per week, averaging 1–4 delivery stops per trip
- Travel throughout the Eastern United States and Midwest, with NO deliveries to NYC or Long Island
- Enjoy No Touch Freight, with loads departing from Marion, VA, while following all DOT safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 24 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- MUST be able to operate a MANUAL TRANSMISSION tractor — no automatic-only restrictions
- Must be comfortable operating Sleeper Tractors with Curtain-Side Trailers and Dry Vans
- Must be willing to complete OTR routes throughout the Eastern U.S. and Midwest
- MUST be available to depart Sunday afternoons and remain on the road through Friday afternoons
- Must be comfortable hauling building materials ranging from 8–20 feet and completing multiple delivery stops
- Must be able to pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen, and Background Checks
- No DUIs/DWIs within the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations within the last 36 months
