Job Description:
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support the financial and operational performance of a fast-growing, project-based reconstruction and restoration business. This role will serve as a key finance partner to operations, with a primary focus on tracking job performance, analyzing margins, and providing visibility into project-level financials.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 1–3 years of experience in finance or public accounting who are looking to transition into a more operationally focused, forward-looking finance role.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Finance Partnership (~75%)
- Partner directly with operations leaders to monitor and analyze job-level performance, including revenue, costs, margins, and profitability
- Track and report on project progress, billings, and backlog, ensuring alignment with financial expectations
- Analyze job cost variances and identify risks or opportunities impacting project margins
- Support forecasting and budgeting processes, with a focus on project pipeline and revenue conversion
- Assist in improving job costing, reporting accuracy, and financial visibility across active projects
- Provide actionable insights to operations to drive margin improvement and cost control
Financial Analysis & Reporting (~25%)
- Support month-end close through variance analysis and reporting
- Assist in preparation of financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support leadership decision-making
- Contribute to process improvements and financial modeling initiatives
- Will be involved in due diligence and analysis of acquisition targets as that becomes a priority
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in: Financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance OR Public accounting (audit or advisory), ideally with exposure to project-based or construction businesses
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with non-finance stakeholders
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
