Position Description:
- The Production Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression.
- Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts
- Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership
- Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams
Skills Required:
- Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends Required Behaviors
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations
- Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers
- Highly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset
