Housekeeper/Room Attendant

Position Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Room Attendant / Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. You will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas, restocking amenities, and ensuring that hotel standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms thoroughly and efficiently
• Make beds, change linens, dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and clean floors
• Replenish towels, toiletries, and other in-room amenities
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to housekeeping management
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean and organized manner
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner when encountered in hallways or rooms
• Assist with cleaning public areas, hallways, and other hotel spaces as needed
• Ensure guest privacy and adhere to "do not disturb" signs and procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (but not required — training provided)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to follow instructions and hotel cleaning standards
• Good time management skills

• Shifts may include weekends and holidays
• Physically demanding role with frequent lifting, bending, and standing
• Use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Fast-paced environment with time-sensitive tasks
