Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of vacation rental homes, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to clean surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery effectively
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas by sweeping patios, cleaning outdoor furniture, and managing waste disposal
- Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled cleanings within designated windows while maintaining quality standards
- Communicate professionally with property managers or clients regarding any maintenance issues or guest requests
Requirements
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures including floor care, dusting, surface sanitation, and carpet cleaning techniques
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when moving furniture or large items during deep cleans
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, steam cleaners, mops, and scrubbers
