Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Title Landman local to the West Texas area. Landman: Minimum 3-5 years of experience
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research public records to find the owners of the property.
- Prepare mineral takeoff reports with detailed notes.
- Prepare Leasehold takeoff reports with detailed notes.
- Identify HBP and open acreage using available resources.
- Evaluate lease provisions and prepare Lease Analysis Worksheets.
- New Mexico experience with the ability to work in the county. (Eddy/Lea)
Essential Skill:
- Familiar with online resources including TxRRC, Drilling Info, and Courthouse Direct.
- Strong technical knowledge, analytical expertise, and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office software, especially Excel and Word
- A strong understanding of all title, and how to solve various title problems
