Role Description
This is a contract role for a Petroleum Landman, located on-site in Midland, TX. The Petroleum Landman will be responsible for conducting land and title research, preparing runsheets and ownership reports, negotiating land contracts, and other responsibilities common to the landman function. The role involves close collaboration with the management team to ensure standards of quality and accuracy are met on each project.
There are multiple roles available with experience requirements varying from entry-level to senior landman. If hired, candidates will be assigned projects commensurate with experience level and proven competency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in land and title research, including surface, mineral, royalty, ORRI, working interest and NRI calculations.
- Knowledge and familiarity with the Midland and Delaware Basins.
- Knowledge of State of New Mexico and Federal leasehold title.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and on-site in Midland, Texas.
