We are seeking a Dietary Supervisor and Chef Supervisor for a full-time on-site role in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Responsibilities include planning, supervising, and managing food preparation and service to ensure quality, safety, and nutritional standards are met. The role involves overseeing diet plans, training kitchen staff, managing food inventory, ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.
- Knowledge of Dietetics and Nutrition to ensure dietary plans support residents’ health and well-being
- Expertise in Food Preparation and Food Service to oversee high-quality meal preparation and presentation
- Experience in Food & Beverage management to maintain inventory, ensure compliance with safety standards, and lead a team effectively
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities to manage schedules, train staff, and ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Ability to follow and enforce compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred
- Certification in food safety or dietetics is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
