What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler position at Optim LLC?
Job Summary:
Optim LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler for our medical endoscope products.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assembling, inspecting, and packaging our medical endoscope products.
Primary Duties:
- Opto-mechanical assembly, including working with fiberoptics.
- Build shaft subcomponents and / or final shafts according to work instructions.
- Assemble, paint, and epoxy Scope subcomponents.
- Assemble components into completed scopes.
- In-process quality inspection for mechanical and visual compliance to specifications.
- Inspect and package final product for shipment.
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to work with and assemble small components.
- Ability to read and follow routers and written/verbal instruction.
- Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings, some math required.
- Ability to effectively measure using a ruler and calipers.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Works well individually and in a team environment.
- Safety and quality conscious.
- Punctual and attentive.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
N/A
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Microscope, soldering, and epoxies experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
